The G29 SF (Short Frame) variant shortens the backstrap-to-trigger reach for a more accessible grip while retaining the 10+1 capacity of the compact 10mm platform. This Gen 3 model combines the SF grip profile with Glock’s Safe Action system and a durable black finish.
The Gen 3 frame includes finger grooves, a single-slot accessory rail on the dust cover, and no interchangeable backstraps. The slide uses rear vertical serrations for a solid grasp during manipulation, and both the frame and slide present in black.
The 3.78-inch steel barrel uses Glock’s hexagonal polygonal rifling with a 1:9.84 in right-hand twist, contributing to the clean, bright bore condition noted. This barrel configuration is typical of Austrian-made Glock pistols of this generation.
Sighting is handled by fixed polymer notch-and-post sights, with a white-dot front and white-outline rear. Controls are straightforward, with a standard magazine release and the Safe Action system providing trigger, firing pin, and drop safeties. The action is semi-automatic, striker-fired, and locked-breech.
