The KDS9c pairs a compact footprint with a 15+1 capacity using flush-fit magazines. Its 7075 aluminum frame keeps unloaded weight around 25.3 oz while maintaining a 1911-style single-action, recoil-operated system. Cross-hatch texturing on the frontstrap and backstrap, along with G10 grip panels, provide a stable purchase.
The stainless steel barrel uses a bushingless, coned design with a fluted hood and a deep recessed crown. A 1:10 twist supports common 9mm loads, and the lowered, flared ejection port and external extractor are set up for consistent cycling.
The tri-top slide includes front, rear, and top serrations for secure manipulation. It is optics-ready with a plate system and arrives with the cover plate installed; adapter plates are available for Shield RMSc/Holosun-K and Trijicon RMR footprints. Iron sights consist of a green fiber-optic front in a dovetail and a black serrated adjustable rear in a dovetail.
Controls are thoughtfully configured with an ambidextrous thumb safety, a skeletonized, lightened trigger, and a left-side oval magazine release.
