The M&P9 M2.0 Compact pairs a 3.6-inch stainless steel barrel with a striker-fired action in 9mm Luger. It offers a 15+1 capacity in a compact footprint and deletes the manual thumb safety while retaining a trigger safety with the hinged M2.0 trigger.
Construction details include a stainless steel slide and barrel treated with Armornite and a black polymer frame with an extended embedded stainless-steel chassis. An accessory rail is integrated, and a loaded-chamber witness port is present.
The slide is optics-ready with an optics cut and a mounting plate installed. Tall steel 3-dot sights (white-dot front, two-dot rear) provide a co-witness height for use with mounted optics.
Controls are well laid out with an ambidextrous slide stop and a reversible push-button magazine release. The aggressive M2.0 grip texture and interchangeable palmswell backstraps support a secure, tailored fit.
