The VP9 pairs a 4.1-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel with polygonal rifling for durability and consistent performance. Its locked-breech, tilting-barrel design and striker-fired action deliver a clean trigger feel and reliable cycling. Capacity is 17+1 with the included double-stack magazines.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including paddle-style magazine releases and slide stop levers, making the pistol easy to run from either hand. Interchangeable backstraps and side panels, along with aggressive texturing, let the shooter tailor grip size and feel.
The slide features front and rear cocking serrations, rear charging supports, and a rear striker status indicator for quick status checks. Sights are dovetailed 3-dot irons with a green front dot and two white rear dots. The slide is matte black and configured from the factory with no optics cut.
