The SP2022 is a SIG Pro series pistol built around a stainless-steel slide over a polymer frame, both finished in FDE. Its short-recoil, locked-breech design pairs with DA/SA operation and an external hammer for a familiar, controllable shooting cycle. A decocker and loaded chamber indicator are included among its safety features.
The 3.9 inch barrel and fixed 3-dot contrast sights (white front dot with white 2-dot rear) provide a straightforward sight picture. The slide features rear serrations only, maintaining a clean profile while aiding manipulation.
Ergonomics are supported by a modular, swappable grip insert system; this pistol is fitted with a black grip insert. An integral true M1913 Picatinny four-slot accessory rail on the dustcover offers standardized mounting for compatible accessories.
Capacity is 15+1 in 9mm Luger, and this example includes two factory SIG Pro stainless steel magazines. It is made in the United States and identified by SIG Sauer part number E2022-9-FDE-BLKGRP. The factory case label dated 22-MAY-2019 confirms its FDE, 9mm, DA/SA, contrast-sight configuration.
