German origin is clearly indicated with frame marking "MADE IN GERMANY" and German proof marks, including "DE" near the ejection port. The slide and frame carry the "SIG SAUER INC EXETER - NH" importer mark, aligning this example with an earlier production period. Serial markings are present on the barrel hood/ejection-port area and on the right side of the slide and frame.
The pistol follows the full-size 1911 platform and uses a 5-inch fixed barrel with blowback, single-action operation tailored for .22 LR. A 1911-style barrel bushing, skeletonized commander-style hammer, and a skeletonized, three-hole long trigger preserve a familiar 1911 feel. Capacity is rated at 10+1, with a left-side magazine release.
Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety with memory pad for consistent engagement. These features support predictable handling while maintaining a traditional 1911 manual of arms.
