The Ares configuration centers on a 4.25 in bushingless bull barrel and a single-action operating system on a double-stack 1911 platform. It uses a modular grip with raised triangular texture for secure purchase, a left-side magazine release, and an ambidextrous thumb safety. The flat, skeletonized, red anodized trigger provides a distinct, modern control interface.
The slide features front and rear diagonal cocking serrations, top lightening windows, and a lowered/flared ejection port. The pistol is a non-ported configuration and wears a matte black DLC finish for a dark, even appearance.
Sighting is fast and adjustable, with a red fiber-optic front sight paired to an adjustable rear. The railed dust cover integrates a 1913 Picatinny accessory rail with five slots, allowing placement of compatible lights or accessories as needed.
Markings include the model name “ARES” with the Atlas flame/globe logo on the slide, and a barrel hood marked “PERFECT ZERO 9MM” with the Atlas logo.
