The Stag-15 platform uses a semi-automatic, direct-impingement system with a carbine-length gas setup and right-hand ejection. The upper receiver is a flat-top with a T-marked Picatinny rail, forward assist, and an ejection-port cover. Receiver markings read "STAG ARMS NEW BRITAIN, CT USA" with the stag-head logo, and the lower is marked "MODEL STAG-15 CAL MULTI."
The 16-inch barrel is M4-profile, threaded, and stamped "STAG ARMS 5.56 NATO 1/7 HP/MP," reflecting high-pressure and magnetic-particle testing. A multi-port muzzle brake/compensator is installed, and the carbine-length system pairs with a fixed A2-style front sight tower, delta ring, and triangular front handguard cap.
Furniture includes an A2 pistol grip and Mission First Tactical components: a Battlelink Minimalist (BMSMIL) mil-spec 6-position stock that is pinned in a single position, and a carbine-length M-LOK polymer handguard. A bolt-on polymer Picatinny rail segment is mounted to the handguard for accessory placement. A Magpul MBUS rear sight is installed to complement the A2 front sight.
Chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1:7 twist, the rifle uses standard STANAG magazines and has a 30+1 capacity. The finish is matte black throughout. Length of pull measures 12.5 inches. The receiver marking from New Britain, CT adds desirable context for those tracking Stag’s earlier production era.
