The revolver includes Taurus' dual-latch cylinder lockup and the distinctive Ribber rubber grip with a red backstrap insert. Made in Brazil, it carries the factory import markings.

The Raging Bull Model 454 is built around a five-shot fluted cylinder sized for .454 Casull. Its double-action/single-action system with an exposed hammer offers both rapid-fire capability and precision single-action control. The dual-latch cylinder lockup, including a front crane lock, provides a secure, positive engagement.
The 7.25 in heavy-profile barrel is constructed of carbon steel and features a full-length underlug and ventilated shroud. This example uses a heavy barrel assembly without a muzzle brake or top porting. Sight regulation is handled by a pinned ramp front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight.
Construction is all carbon steel with a high-polish blued finish on the frame and cylinder. Factory markings include "TAURUS INT. MFG. MIAMI, FL – USA" and "MADE IN BRAZIL," reflecting its Brazilian manufacture and U.S. import.
