Product Description

    Tula SKS-45 Letter-Series "K" Suffix 1958 7.62x39 Semi-Auto Rifle, Chrome-Lined Barrel, Matching Cyrillic Serials, KBI Import

This Tula Arsenal SKS-45 is a 1958 letter-series rifle with the "K" suffix, imported by KBI, Harrisburg, PA. It features matching Cyrillic serials on the bolt carrier, bolt, magazine floorplate/trigger guard, receiver cover, and stock, along with a blank receiver cover and the Tula five-point star on the left receiver wall. A chrome-lined barrel, milled steel receiver, and classic hardwood furniture with red-brown shellac highlight its Russian manufacture and collectible configuration.

The rifle retains the SKS short-stroke gas piston and tilting-bolt action, a fixed internal 10-round magazine with a hinged floorplate, and a wooden ventilated upper handguard. Sights include a hooded front post and a tangent rear leaf graduated to 1000 m with the "П" battle notch. The bolt and carrier are in the white, contrasting with the dark, blackened finish on the other parts.

    What’s Included

    • Tula SKS-45 semi-automatic rifle (1958 letter-series with "K" suffix)

Built at Tula Arsenal in the USSR, this SKS-45 presents a desirable letter-series configuration with the "K" suffix and a blank receiver cover. The Tula star on the left receiver wall and the KBI Harrisburg, PA import mark provide clear provenance.

Chambered in 7.62x39, it uses a short-stroke gas piston with a tilting-bolt action and a fixed 10-round internal magazine. The barrel is chrome-lined, measuring approximately 20.5 inches, and overall length is about 40 inches. The receiver is milled steel with a blackened finish, while the bolt and carrier remain in the white.

The hardwood stock wears a red-brown shellac finish and includes a finger-groove forearm and a bottom sling swivel on the butt. Length of pull is 13.5 inches. A bayonet lug and cleaning-rod channel are present, though the bayonet and rod are not installed.

Sighting equipment includes a hooded front post and a rear tangent leaf graduated to 1000 meters with the "П" battle notch, consistent with late-production Russian SKS setup. Matching Cyrillic serials on the major components further support its collectibility and originality.
