The Earl is part of NAA's 1860 Series and blends classic percussion-era styling with modern stainless steel construction. It features a fixed-backstrap frame with an integral topstrap, a five-shot unfluted cylinder, and a no-trigger-guard configuration that echoes 19th-century design cues.
The 4-inch octagonal stainless barrel provides a longer sighting plane compared to shorter mini-revolvers. Sight picture is straightforward with a fixed bead/post front and a fixed rear groove. The finish is a brushed/satin stainless throughout the frame, cylinder, and barrel.
Operation is single-action only with an exposed hammer and a spur-style trigger. Safety notches between the chambers allow the hammer to rest securely. Chambered in .22 WMR, this example is configured as .22 Magnum only and does not include a .22 LR cylinder.
Details include an under-barrel lever assembly that retains the base pin, smooth hardwood birdshead grips, and make and caliber markings reading "NORTH AMERICAN ARMS • PROVO, UT" and ".22 MAGNUM." The revolver is micro-sized with an approximate overall length of 7.75 inches and weight around 8.5 ounces per model reference. Made in the United States.
