Built on the AR-15 platform, the DDM4 V7 Pro is configured with an 18-inch CMV steel barrel that is cold hammer forged, chrome lined, and cut to the S2W profile for stability. It uses a rifle-length gas system per factory specification and a 1:7 twist to pair with a broad range of 5.56 NATO loads. The barrel is threaded and fitted with a two-chamber brake/compensator with top porting to manage recoil and muzzle movement.
The Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 M free-float rail provides a continuous, T-marked top Picatinny rail and M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock for mounting accessories. Rail length is 15.0 inches, and a vertical foregrip is installed on the M-LOK handguard.
A Geissele-branded flat-faced trigger is installed for a precise, consistent pull. Controls include a standard magazine release and a manual safety. The rifle uses an adjustable polymer stock and a textured polymer pistol grip.
The upper and lower receivers are Daniel Defense forged 7075-T6 aluminum with Type III hard-coat anodizing beneath a multitone camo coating that extends across the upper, lower, and handguard.
