This IWI Zion Z-15 (model Z15TAC16) is an AR-15 pattern 5.56 NATO rifle built around a 16 inch nitrided 4150 CMV barrel, a mid-length gas system, and forged 7075-T6 receivers. It is in excellent condition with a clean, mirror-finish bore and comes with five 30-round Magpul PMAG Gen M3 magazines. The receiver is marked MODEL: Z-15 and CAL: MULTI with IWI US, Middletown, PA, and the factory box notes Made in Israel & USA – Assembled in USA.
The 16 inch barrel uses a 1:8 twist and is threaded at the muzzle with an A2-pattern flash hider. Operation is semi-automatic, direct impingement, and the rifle feeds from STANAG pattern magazines for a 30+1 capacity.
A free-float slim aluminum handguard offers M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock with a continuous Picatinny top rail. The top rail is unobstructed and the rifle ships with no sights installed.
Forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers include an upper with a forward assist and dust cover, and a bolt carrier marked with the IWI logo. Controls include a selector safety and a standard charging handle.
