What’s Included
- FN FAL 50.00 rifle
- 1x 20-round metric-pattern steel FAL detachable box magazine
Belgian manufacture and Steyr Secaucus import status set this FAL 50.00 apart. The receiver bears clear factory and import markings, including "FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL," "MADE IN BELGIUM," "STEYR SECAUCUS N.J.," and ".308 MATCH." As a pre-1989 import, it fits the classic pre-ban profile associated with Steyr’s late 1970s–1980s import window.
The rifle uses FN’s short-stroke gas piston with a tilting-bolt action, paired with an adjustable gas regulator and gas plug for tuning across ammunition types. Controls include a left-side, folding, ribbed charging handle and a safety selector with S and R legend. Capacity is 20+1 with the included metric-pattern steel magazine, and an integral carry handle is fitted to the receiver assembly.
Its 18-inch barrel is threaded and capped with the long three-slot flash hider. Sights follow the 200–600 m pattern, with a protected post front sight on the gas block and an adjustable rear sight on a sliding ramp. This setup delivers a clean, repeatable sight picture consistent with the FAL 50.00 configuration.
Furniture includes the fixed black synthetic humpback buttstock with a trapdoor buttplate and rear sling loop, a black pistol grip, and two-piece ventilated metal handguards. Length of pull measures 14.25 inches, and the steel Type III receiver omits exterior lightening cuts, reflecting the classic late-production pattern.
This is a scarce and desired Steyr import pre-ban FN FAL 50.00 that brings together Belgian manufacture, correct markings, and a well-preserved configuration.
