This Smith & Wesson Model 500 pairs the power of the .500 S&W Magnum with a compact 4" tensioned two-piece barrel and X-Frame stainless steel construction. It features a factory multi-port compensator, a fluted five-shot cylinder, and fully adjustable sights. The revolver comes with its S&W factory hard case and an additional S&W Model 500 muzzle brake kit.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: There is light scorching around the barrel ports and factory muzzle brake, and minor blemishing on the frame.

Built on S&W's X-Frame, this revolver uses stainless steel throughout the frame, cylinder, and receiver. The frame and receiver wear a brushed/satin stainless finish, while the fluted five-shot cylinder is polished stainless for a distinctive contrast.
The 4" barrel assembly is a tensioned two-piece design with a full-length shroud and heavy underlug. It is ported and fitted with a factory multi-port compensator/brake, and the shroud is rollmarked "500 S&W MAGNUM" and "SMITH & WESSON."
Controls and handling details include DA/SA operation with a smooth trigger face, an exposed hammer, and S&W's internal key lock with the keyhole located above the cylinder latch. Black synthetic rubber finger-groove grips with S&W medallions provide a secure hold.
Sighting is handled by a pinned ramp front sight with orange insert paired to a fully adjustable square-notch rear blade. Additional markings include the "MADE IN U.S.A. SPRINGFIELD, MA" rollmark on the frame.
Chambered in .500 S&W Magnum, this revolver can also chamber .500 S&W Special. Capacity is five rounds.
