The Springfield Armory Hellion stands out as a modern bullpup rifle with a compact overall length, fully ambidextrous controls, and a reversible ejection system. This example features a 16 inch CMV steel barrel with a nitride finish and 1/2x28 threads, an adjustable gas regulator with Normal and Suppressed settings, and integrated flip-up iron sights on a full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail. It comes with three 30-round magazines and a Springfield Armory soft rifle case, and its condition is excellent throughout.

The Hellion uses a short-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt and a two-position gas regulator labeled Normal and Suppressed. This system supports reliable operation across a wide range of ammunition and configurations while keeping the rifle’s overall length to approximately 28.25–29.75 inches.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, and the rifle’s ejection can be reversed. An ambidextrous safety selector is standard. The rifle accepts AR/STANAG-pattern magazines and has a 30+1 capacity.
A full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail with T-marks runs the receiver, paired with integrated flip-up front and rear iron sights. The polymer M-LOK fore-end provides mounting slots for accessories as needed.
The 16 inch CMV steel barrel is nitride treated and threaded 1/2x28, capped with a flash hider. Rifling is 1:7 twist to suit common 5.56mm NATO projectile weights.
The buttstock is a telescoping five-position design with an adjustable cheekpiece and QD sling mounts. The rifle weighs about 8.0 lb. This example bears HS PRODUKT/MADE IN CROATIA markings with the Springfield Armory crest, reflecting its Croatian manufacture.
