What's Included
- Ruger New Model Blackhawk .45 Caliber revolver with 7.5 in barrel (custom unfluted roll-engraved cylinder installed)
The New Model Blackhawk is a steel-framed, single-action revolver with a blued finish and six-round capacity. This example is chambered in .45 Caliber and configured with the 7.5 in barrel length favored on classic Blackhawks.
Its most distinctive feature is the unfluted, roll-engraved cylinder. The engraving presents a western scene with scrollwork and a cowboy motif, with Ruger script visible. This non-standard cylinder is atypical for a standard Blackhawk and gives the revolver a unique visual profile.
Sighting equipment includes an adjustable square-notch rear sight and a ramp front sight. The standard Blackhawk hammer (non-Bisley) and single-action-only mechanism deliver the familiar New Model handling.
Safety is provided by Ruger’s transfer-bar system. The revolver wears smooth hardwood grips with Ruger medallions, and the barrel address reads "STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A."
