The Ranger II is a compact, single-stack 1911 platform built around a 4.15 inch bushingless, cone-style bull barrel and a ported barrel/slide setup to help manage muzzle rise. The matte black slide features front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port for consistent manipulation and ejection.
Controls are 1911-standard and thoughtfully configured: a beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous manual thumb safeties, and an undercut trigger guard for a higher purchase. A flat, checkered mainspring housing and a flared magazine well support quick, confident reloads.
Sighting is handled by Heine-marked, low-mount rear sights paired with a dovetailed front blade featuring a single-dot insert. The skeletonized commander-style hammer and the skeletonized three-hole curved trigger give the pistol a crisp, familiar single-action feel.
The metal frame and slide wear a uniform matte black finish, with textured black synthetic grip panels installed. Factory markings include STI International, Georgetown, Texas with the Texas-outline logo, reflecting its USA manufacture in the 2000s–2010s era. Capacity is stated at 8+1, and the pistol has no accessory rail.
