This TRP is the no-rail PC9107L variant, pairing a 5-inch Government-length barrel with a matte stainless slide and frame. Slide markings include the Springfield Armory crossed-cannons crest with TRP, and "TACTICAL" on the dust cover. The frame is marked "Springfield Geneseo IL USA," and the trigger guard bears "SS."
The control layout is set up for confident handling, with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. A skeletonized three-hole trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer complete the TRP’s duty-focused fire control features.
Grip and handling upgrades include a checkered front strap and a flat, checkered mainspring housing. A flared and blended magazine well supports fast, positive reloads with the included single-stack magazines.
The slide is equipped with front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port. Sighting is via low-profile, dovetailed fixed 3-dot sights (single-dot front and two-dot rear). The barrel hood is marked "S.A. .45 AUTO." The capacity is 8+1 with standard single-stack 1911 magazines. The factory case label matches this configuration.
