The H-308 pairs a 16-inch fluted stainless steel barrel with a threaded muzzle and multi-port brake, combining corrosion-resistant barrel material with weight-reducing flutes and ready compatibility with threaded muzzle devices. The barrel length and chambering are configured for 7.62x51 NATO, with a listed capacity of 20+1.
A flat-top upper with a Picatinny rail provides a solid mounting surface, complemented by a Hogan-marked dust cover and a forward assist. The free-float ventilated aluminum handguard keeps the barrel isolated from external contact and manages heat with its skeletonized design.
Controls and furniture are set up for practical use: an ambidextrous safety selector, a standard right-side magazine release, and an ERGO overmolded pistol grip. A VLTOR adjustable 6-position stock with a QD socket allows length-of-pull tuning, with this example measuring 15.25 inches.
The rifle uses SR-25/LR-308 pattern magazines and includes one 20-round Magpul PMAG LR/SR Gen M3. A flip-up front backup iron sight is installed. The two-tone tan/black finish over aluminum-alloy receivers, with a stainless barrel, gives the rifle a distinctive look. Production is from the 2010s and the rifle is made in the USA.
