Its blowback action runs a bright-finish cylindrical bolt and uses a 10+1 capacity. The Mark II configuration has no loaded-chamber indicator. Takedown is via the backstrap mainspring housing, which features the Ruger phoenix logo.
Sighting is straightforward and flexible with a fixed front blade and a fully adjustable square-notch rear sight.
