The DB15 uses a semi-automatic, direct-impingement system and is built on black-finished aluminum-alloy receivers. The flat-top upper includes a forward assist and case deflector, and the ejection-port cover is etched "5.56 NATO." The upper shows an "A" forging mark. The lower is marked "CAL. MULTI" and "DB15" with the Diamondback shield logo.
Its 16-inch barrel features a 1:8 RH twist and a threaded muzzle capped with an A2 flash hider. The free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard uses anti-rotation clamp screws and includes a partial top rail segment for mounting accessories along the handguard.
Ergonomics include a six-position collapsible stock with a 13.5-inch length of pull and a Magpul polymer pistol grip. Controls are standard AR-15 pattern with a right-side magazine release and a manual safety.
This rifle is configured for 5.56 NATO and accepts standard AR-15 pattern magazines. Capacity is 30+1, and this example ships with one 30-round and two 10-round magazines as noted.
