Sig Sauer 1911 Ultra Compact .45 ACP, 3.3 in Barrel, Alloy Frame, SIGLITE Night Sights, 7+1
This Sig Sauer 1911 Ultra Compact is a micro-size, officer-length alloy-frame .45 ACP built in the USA with a 3.3 in barrel and a 7+1 stated capacity. It features SIGLITE tritium night sights, a SIG-profile slide with practical enhancements, and an integrated magwell funnel for streamlined reloads. The pistol shows very light handling with an immaculate bore and comes with two 7-round magazines, including a Kimber KimPro Tac-Mag.
The Ultra Compact format delivers a shortened slide and barrel paired to an officer-length aluminum alloy frame. Checkering on the frontstrap and mainspring housing, along with textured G10-style grip panels, provide secure purchase in a small footprint. The integrated magwell funnel aids in quick, consistent magazine seating.
The slide uses SIG-profile geometry with rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and an external extractor. Sighted with SIGLITE tritium night sights, it pairs a tritium front dot with a low-profile tritium rear for clear, low-light aiming.
The single-action 1911 fire-control system includes an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, grip safety, and a half-cock notch. A skeletonized hammer and a lightened, black skeletonized trigger complete the package.
The matte light metallic finish is applied to both slide and frame. Factory markings include 'SIG SAUER 1911' on the slide and 'SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON-NH-USA' on the frame. The design omits an accessory rail to maintain a compact profile.
