This single-action-only rimfire revolver follows the Colt SAA pattern and uses a six-shot fluted cylinder. It is a convertible configuration chambered for .22 LR with an additional .22 WMR cylinder included.
The revolver is built around a compact barrel with a full-length ejector-rod housing and a knurled base-pin head. It wears a birdshead grip frame fitted with white pearlescent panels and a bright in-the-white hammer spur for a classic look.
Sight picture is straightforward and durable, with a fixed half-moon front sight and a fixed top-strap notch rear sight. The barrel is carbon steel, and the cylinder is carbon steel, both finished in blued/black.
The frame is an alloy construction finished in black. Factory markings include "HERITAGE MFG. MIAMI, FL 33054" on the frame and barrel legends "ROUGH RIDER .22 CAL" and "KEEP EMPTY CHAMBER UNDER HAMMER." The end label shows model code RR22MB3BHPRL.
