The 28-inch field barrel is marked "12 GA. FOR 2 3/4 IN. SHELLS" and carries a fixed Full (F) choke. A ventilated rib with a front bead provides a clean sighting plane. The barrel is rollmarked "Remington Arms Co., Inc., Ilion, N.Y.

The factory scroll-engraved receiver is blued steel, paired with an aluminum trigger plate/guard. The receiver bears the V suffix, indicating the standard 12-gauge 2 3/4-inch receiver type. Capacity is 3 rounds (plugged), with a magazine cap at the fore-end.
The walnut stock and forend feature cut checkering with a fleur-de-lis pattern, complemented by a black grip cap with a white diamond inlay and a black hard buttplate with a white-line spacer. Length of pull measures 14 inches.
Proof and inspection marks include the oval REP proof and additional inspector stamps near the receiver ring. Controls include a cross-bolt safety. Overall finish is blued, and the shotgun was made in the United States.
