The BDS9 Blackout IOS pairs a Government-length, double-stack frame (17+1 capacity) with a 5-inch match bull barrel featuring a recessed crown and short-proud muzzle. The full-length dust cover integrates an accessory rail for lights. The aluminum grip module has aggressive circular-dimple texturing and a flared, beveled magwell for confident handling and quick reloads.
Its reduced-mass slide showcases the Boardroom theme: a tri-top profile, side lightening ports, an extended top window, and a raised, serrated top rib. Front and rear cocking serrations offer secure traction. The black slide and frame keep a clean, modern look.
Nighthawk’s IOS is installed with plate SI0093 (Trijicon SRO/RMR HD footprint) and ships with a Trijicon RMR HD mounted. The optic provides a red circle-dot multi-reticle with a 3.25 MOA center dot. The current IOS plate omits a rear sight; up front is a fiber-optic blade on the serrated rib. The sight radius is approximately 6.5 inches.
Controls are straightforward and duty-ready: single-action only with a single-sided (left) thumb safety. Documentation includes a Nighthawk factory test target and QC sheets listing the model and matching serial; the test target is dated December 23, 2024 and notes a 12-yard benchrest method. Two 17-round magazines and a spare slide stop lever round out the package.
