Built at Savage Arms (Canada) Inc. in Lakefield, Ontario and imported by Savage Arms, Inc., Westfield, MA, this right-hand 93R17 FV pairs the .17 HMR chambering with a proven bolt-action platform. The round bolt knob provides a familiar, positive grip during cycling.
The 21 inch barrel uses a recessed crown to help protect the rifling at the muzzle. It is unthreaded, and the rifle ships without factory iron sights for a clean top profile.
Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger with a trigger safety blade allows the shooter to fine-tune pull weight within its design range. A two-position safety is located at the rear of the receiver with a red fire indicator for clear status at a glance.
The black synthetic stock includes molded checkering for consistent purchase, sling swivel studs for carry options, and an integral plastic buttplate. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches to accommodate a wide range of shooters.
