This SP2009 is an early Swiss-made frame variant of the SIG Pro series, pairing a polymer frame with a steel slide and a DA/SA system with a dedicated decocker. It features the proprietary two-slot SigPro accessory rail (pre-Picatinny), fixed dovetailed sights with a white-dot front, and a molded wraparound "sig pro" grip. Markings include "SIGARMS INC., EXETER–NH–USA" and "Frame made in Switzerland." It comes with one 15-round steel magazine, the factory SIGARMS case, manual, and an additional backstrap.

The SP2009 is a full-size 9mm with a 3.9 in barrel and a 15+1 capacity. Its hammer-fired DA/SA, short-recoil system is paired with an external spurred hammer and a decocker for controlled transitions between modes.
This example uses the early Swiss-made frame and the proprietary two-slot SigPro accessory rail that predates standardized Picatinny rails. The steel slide complements the polymer frame for a durable, duty-size configuration.
Sights are fixed, dovetailed iron units, with a dovetailed white-dot front and a fixed, dovetailed rear. The wraparound textured polymer grip panel is molded with "sig pro" and provides full-hand coverage.
