The USP40 Stainless pairs a corrosion-resistant stainless slide with a durable black polymer frame for a proven duty-ready configuration. It is a full-size model with a 4.25 in barrel and a stated capacity of 13+1 in .40 S&W. Fixed 3-dot white sights are dovetailed front and rear, and the slide includes rear cocking serrations for positive manipulation.
This pistol is hammer-fired in DA/SA and uses an exposed spur hammer. Controls include ambidextrous safety levers, an ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release, and a firing pin block. The setup offers familiar USP ergonomics with textured grip panels and molded checkering.
The operating system is a short-recoil, Browning-type design with a captive recoil spring and a recoil-reduction assembly. This system is integral to the USP series and is designed to manage .40 S&W recoil effectively.
Origin and markings are correct for a German-made USP: "Heckler & Koch GmbH – Made in Germany" with the importer mark "Heckler & Koch, Inc., Sterling, VA." The slide, barrel, and frame carry matching serial numbers.
