The G2c is a compact 9mm built around a 3.2-inch stainless steel barrel and a matte stainless slide over a black polymer frame. The frame incorporates integral stippled grip panels with memory pads and the Taurus bull logo, providing a secure, no-slip hold without added bulk. Overall dimensions are approximately 6.2 inches long, 5.0 inches high, and 1.2 inches wide, with an unloaded weight of about 21.2 ounces.
Its striker-fired system includes restrike capability, allowing a second trigger press on a cartridge that did not fire. Safety features are comprehensive: a manual thumb safety, a trigger safety tab, a firing-pin block, and a loaded-chamber indicator. Controls are left-side, including the push-button magazine release and slide stop.
