The forged steel slide features front and rear serrations, a loaded chamber indicator, and an OSP optics cut with an installed cover plate. The slide and the polymer frame are finished in flat dark earth for a consistent FDE presentation. The frame integrates an accessory rail with three cross-slots for lights or other compatible accessories.
The 4 in hammer-forged steel barrel uses a Melonite treatment, and the bore is clean with sharp rifling. The pistol uses a striker-fired system with a flat-profile trigger. Safety features include the XD grip safety, a trigger safety, and a loaded chamber indicator.
Iron sights are factory-installed: a red fiber-optic front blade pairs with a steel rear notch for a clear sight picture. The OSP slide allows direct mounting of compatible optics once the cover plate is removed, offering a straightforward path to a red dot setup if desired.
Controls are modern and practical. The ambidextrous magazine release supports either hand, and the full-size Service Model frame provides a stable shooting platform. Dimensions are 7.3 in overall length, 5.5 in height, and approximately 1.2 in in width, with an unloaded weight of about 27 oz.
Chambered in 9mm Luger, standard capacity is 16+1 with a 10+1 option for restricted environments, and this Mod. 3 is backward compatible with original XD9 magazines. Country of origin is Croatia, with a clear MADE IN CROATIA marking on the pistol.
