This Knights Armament SR-15 E3 MOD 2 stands out with KAC's E3 bolt and extension design, a proprietary intermediate/mid-length gas system, and a factory URX 4 free-float M-LOK rail. The SR-15 E3 MOD 2 pairs KAC's E3 bolt and extension concept with a proprietary intermediate/mid-length gas system for smooth function and durability. The 16" barrel is free-floated and threaded, and it comes equipped with an open-tine 3-prong flash hider.
The rifle uses the KAC URX 4 free-float M-LOK handguard with a continuous top Picatinny rail and an integral QD socket. The upper includes a forward assist, shell deflector, and ejection-port dust cover. Both receivers and the handguard wear a hard-anodized finish.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety selector and magazine release. Sighting is handled by KAC Micro folding front and rear iron sights. Furniture includes a 6-position collapsible stock with a 12.25 length of pull and a Magpul polymer pistol grip.
Factory markings are present throughout: the right lower reads "SR-15 5.56mm KNIGHT'S MFG. CO. TITUSVILLE, FL USA," the left lower shows "STONER RIFLE" with the KAC crest, the upper is marked "MOD 2," and the handguard is marked "KNIGHTARMCO.COM." The rifle is made in the USA.
