This PPK/S is a custom piece with full-coverage aftermarket ornamental scroll engraving and themed details: 007 cartouches on the slide flats, 'BOND EDITION' banners on both sides, gun-barrel swirl motifs, engraved silhouettes, and a crowned crest across the backstrap and straps. The scrollwork continues over the slide, frame, trigger guard, and straps for complete visual continuity.
Built by Walther Arms in Fort Smith, Arkansas, this modern-production PPK/S uses the classic fixed-barrel blowback system in .380 ACP. The pistol carries a matte stainless-tone finish on its all-steel slide and frame, with vertical rear slide serrations and a serrated anti-glare top rib to reduce glare along the sighting plane.
The operating system is DA/SA with an exposed hammer, and controls include a slide-mounted safety/decocker and a loaded-chamber indicator. An extended beavertail with lanyard hole adds control at the rear of the frame. Sighting is via fixed iron sights with a painted-dot blade front and painted-dot notch rear, and the magazine release is the standard configuration.
True to the PPK/S lineage, this model combines the PPK slide and barrel with the PP-length frame, a configuration developed to meet GCA-1968 import point requirements. It is fitted with smooth high-gloss wood grip panels that complement the engraved theme and the matte stainless-tone finish.
Additional modern touches include a rectangular identification plate with QR matrix, a chamber marked .380 ACP, and a factory Walther single-stack magazine. Capacity is 7+1 with the supplied 7-round magazine, which features a finger-rest baseplate and markings of WALTHER and Cal. 9mm kurz with witness numbers 2–7.
