What’s Included
- Colt New Frontier .22 revolver
The New Frontier .22 uses a flat-top frame with a fully adjustable rear sight and a ramped, serrated front sight, providing a precise sight picture that suits the platform. The 4.25" barrel keeps the package compact while maintaining the classic Colt single-action profile.
Construction and finishes are true to the model: a blued steel barrel and fluted cylinder, paired with a case-colored steel frame. The grip frame is blued aluminum alloy. Grips are the black checkered two-piece "eagle" composition style with Rampant Colt medallions.
Markings include the barrel top legend "COLT'S P.F.A. MFG. CO., HARTFORD, CT., U.S.A." with Colt patent dates and the Rampant Colt logo on the frame. The fluted cylinder is marked ".22 L.R." This example follows the L-prefix serial format within the G/L-series, consistent with its 1974 production in the United States.
Chambered in .22 LR with a six-round cylinder, it retains the traditional single-action-only operation and familiar Colt handling qualities associated with the New Frontier .22 line.
A decorative scroll-engraved inlay panel on the butt of the grip frame provides a distinctive custom detail that sets this revolver apart while remaining tasteful and well-integrated.
