The Tank Commander TC9 follows the 1911 pattern with a Commander-length 4.25 in barrel and a full-size Government grip frame. Chambered in 9mm Luger with a 9+1 capacity, it uses standard 1911 magazines for straightforward compatibility.
Series 70 internals (no firing-pin block) and GI-style controls provide a traditional operating feel. A short, solid trigger and rowel hammer complement the classic configuration, while the forged steel frame and slide are produced using Tisas HBM (hardened before machined) processes for durability.
Sight elements are fixed: a small front blade and a serrated square-notch rear. The slide has rear cocking serrations only, with a standard barrel bushing and a checkered recoil spring plug, keeping the profile true to GI form. Safety features include a thumb safety and a grip safety.
The pistol wears double-diamond checkered wood grips, with OEM plastic panels included if you prefer the factory look. Markings include the model rollmark "1911 A1 TANK COMMANDER" and importer/manufacturer stamps "TISAS KNOXVILLE TN" and "ZIG M9 TURKIYE." MSRP is listed at $429.95.
