What’s Included
- Ruger M77 Tang Safety Round-Top bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm Rem. Mag.
- Two-piece cross-slot scope bases (installed)
This is the original tang-safety M77 with a push-feed action, external claw extractor, and plunger ejector. The right-hand bolt has an in-the-white body and a round knob, consistent with early production features.
The round-top receiver is drilled and tapped and is currently fitted with two-piece cross-slot bases. The 24 in sporter contour barrel is cleanly profiled and shipped without sights, and it carries the barrel marking "STURM, RUGER & CO., INC., SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A."
The rifle uses an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate and offers a 3+1 capacity in 7mm Rem. Mag. The two-position tang safety provides intuitive operation consistent with the early M77 layout.
The walnut stock features cut checkering, a Ruger grip-cap medallion, sling swivel studs, and the classic red Ruger recoil pad. Length of pull measures 13.5 in, and the metal retains a blued finish with a circled 'R' proof. Small plugged screw holes are present on the barrel just ahead of the receiver.
