Built on the 1911 platform, this pistol uses single-action, semi-automatic operation with Series 70-type lockwork (no firing-pin block). It retains GI-pattern controls, including a short GI-style trigger, arched mainspring housing with lanyard loop, wide spur hammer, thumb safety, and grip safety for traditional handling.
The all-steel construction is paired with a 5" hammer-forged steel barrel for durability. The slide features rear-only vertical serrations and a slightly lowered ejection port, finished in matte gray to match the steel frame.
GI low-profile fixed sights include a narrow front blade and a small square-notch rear for a classic sight picture. Capacity is 7+1 rounds in .45 ACP, consistent with the original service-style configuration.
