This Savage Arms Model B is a classic 12 gauge side-by-side with 28 inch blued barrels, a color casehardened receiver, and factory game-scene and scroll engraving. It features extractor-only operation, non-selective double triggers, and a raised solid matted rib with both a front bead and a small mid-bead. Chambers are 2 3/4 inch, and the fixed chokes gauge as Modified (right) and Full (left). A Jostam 'Hy-Gun' recoil pad has been installed, bringing the length of pull to 14.75 inches.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: Metal surfaces present very well with an even blued finish. The stock shows several dings and scratches.

The break-action, top-lever boxlock design uses internal hammers and extractor-only operation for straightforward, reliable cycling. Capacity is 2 rounds. The non-selective double triggers offer direct control of each barrel.
The 28 inch blued barrels wear a raised, solid matted rib with a front bead and a small mid-bead for precise sight alignment. Chambers are 2 3/4 inch. The fixed chokes are configured Modified in the right barrel and Full in the left, and they measure as such with a drop-in gauge.
The receiver shows a color casehardened finish and factory roll engraving, including a light waterfowl scene on the underside and scroll flourishes on the flanks. Markings include PROOF TESTED 12 GAUGE 2 3/4 INCH CHAMBER and FOX — SAVAGE ARMS CORPORATION — CHICOPEE FALLS, MASS. U.S.A. — MODEL B, with the Chicopee Falls barrel address present.
Stock furniture includes a pistol grip and a beavertail forend with cut checkering and an inlet oval initial plate. An aftermarket Jostam 'Hy-Gun' recoil pad is installed, setting the length of pull at 14.75 inches.
