This M12AR is a semi-automatic, gas-operated 12 gauge with a user-adjustable, multi-position gas regulator. The regulator includes dedicated settings for 2-3/4 and 3 inch loads, plus a 0 position for manual single-shot operation. It is chambered for 2-3/4 and 3 inch shells with a stated capacity of 5+1.
Controls are AR-style, including a manual safety selector marked S/F, a bolt catch, and a right-side magazine release. The shotgun feeds from detachable box magazines and features a large ejection port with a dust cover.
The 19-inch steel barrel uses an unmarked choke; a drop-in gauge indicates Cylinder (CYL). This configuration pairs with the gas system to support a wide range of 12 gauge loads within its regulated settings.
Furniture includes a telescoping polymer stock with a rubber buttpad and an AR-pattern polymer pistol grip. The free-float slotted aluminum handguard integrates a front sling loop and allows the gas system to remain visible through the slots. A full-length Picatinny rail runs over the receiver and handguard; no sights are included.
