What’s Included
- F.lli Pietta 1860 Army .44 cap-and-ball revolver
Built on an open-top Colt-pattern frame, this revolver uses the traditional wedge/arbor system for barrel retention and an under-barrel loading lever with a front latch. The six-shot .44 cylinder is roll-engraved with a naval battle scene and finished in blue, matching the barrel and backstrap.
The frame and hammer are color case-hardened, offering a classic period-correct appearance. A brass trigger guard and frontstrap pair with a blued steel backstrap, and the one-piece hardwood grip completes the full-size profile.
Sighting is straightforward and true to the pattern, with a brass front blade and a hammer-notch rear. The rear sight notch is cut into the hammer nose, aligning with the front blade when cocked.
Markings include Italian proof and inspection stamps on the frame, confirming its Italian manufacture by F.lli Pietta. The revolver operates in single-action and has a six-round capacity.
