The R7 Mako OR uses a Shield RMSc-pattern footprint with the factory cover plate installed. Its distinctive shrouded ejection-port design is intended to help shield a mounted optic while also enclosing the ejection area. Front and rear slide serrations provide positive manipulation.
Construction is robust: a stainless steel slide and barrel receive an FNC treatment and black finish, while the frame is glass-filled polymer with a steel central block for reinforcement. The two-tone look pairs the black slide with an FDE frame, and the pistol is marked Troy, Alabama, USA.
TruGlo Tritium Pro night sights come installed, with an orange-highlighted front and a U-notch rear for a clear sight picture in varying light. The action is semi-automatic, striker-fired, locked-breech. Controls include a flat-face trigger with a safety tab, a trigger safety and internal striker block, and a left-side push-button magazine release.
Despite its micro size, the pistol offers a maximum capacity of 15+1 and includes steel double-stack magazines in 10-, 12-, and 15-round configurations. The 3.37-inch barrel, approximate dimensions of 6.2 in L × 4.3 in H × 1.0 in W, and an unloaded weight around 19.5 oz make it a compact, carry-ready package.
