The 92X Compact G pairs the proven 92-series short-recoil, locking-block, hammer-fired action with a decocker-only setup. Ambidextrous slide-mounted control levers provide bilateral operation, while the textured magazine release aids speedy reloads. The slide uses rear-only serrations and the classic open-top design.
Ergonomics are centered on the Vertec-profile compact grip with a straight backstrap. Aggressive checkering on the frontstrap and backstrap enhances retention. The aluminum alloy frame is anodized, and the dustcover integrates a three-slot Picatinny rail for accessory mounting.
The 4.25-inch chrome-lined barrel features a recessed crown. Sighting is straightforward and fast with a dovetailed high-visibility orange dot front sight and a black serrated rear.
