The Model 93R17 FV uses a 21-inch heavy/varmint-contour steel barrel with a matte blued finish. The barrel is unthreaded, and the rifle omits iron sights for a clean top profile. The steel receiver is finished to match in matte blued.
Its AccuTrigger is user-adjustable and includes a trigger safety blade. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and this rifle has two-piece bases and rings installed with a BSA 3-12x40mm scope already mounted.
The rifle is chambered in .17 HMR and feeds from a detachable box magazine, with a 5+1 capacity. Two 5-round steel magazines for the Savage 93-series pattern are included.
The black synthetic stock features molded checkering for grip and sling swivel studs for carry options. Length of pull is 13.25 inches, offering a straightforward, field-ready fit.
