This Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F stands out as a full-size, striker-fired 9mm with an optics-ready slide using the Variable Interface System (VIS), a stainless-steel serialized Central Operating Group (COG), and a hammer-forged, Melonite-treated 4.5-inch barrel. It comes in excellent condition and includes four factory magazines, interchangeable backstraps, a branded soft case, and VIS mounting hardware.
The serialized COG stainless-steel chassis is housed in a black polymer grip module with wraparound micro-texture for consistent control. Fully ambidextrous slide-stop levers support left- or right-hand operation, and the flat-faced trigger with an integrated safety tab provides a familiar striker-fired interface with a trigger safety system.
The slide is cut for direct optics mounting via Springfield’s VIS and features deep front and rear serrations, a forward trench/relief cut, and chamfered top edges. Iron sights include a white-dot front post and a square-notch tactical-rack rear. The 4.5-inch steel barrel is hammer-forged, Melonite treated, and paired with a 1:10 twist for standard 9mm loads.
Tool-less field stripping uses a 90-degree takedown lever and does not require a trigger press. An integral four-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the dustcover is ready for a light or other compatible accessory. Capacity is 20+1 with the included extended-basepad magazine, and three additional 17-round steel double-stack magazines are also provided.
