This Ruger P85 is a full-size, two-tone 9mm from 1990 with the stainless-slide variant often cataloged as the KP85. As Ruger’s first centerfire P-Series autopistol, it features investment-cast construction, a stainless bushingless tilting barrel, and an aluminum alloy frame. It includes an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker, fixed 3-dot sights, and a wraparound rubber grip with finger grooves, combining rugged build with practical controls.

Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

The P85’s DA/SA action, exposed spurred hammer, and left-side push-button magazine release offer familiar, straightforward handling. The ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker and firing pin block provide user-friendly, built-in safeguards without complicating operation.
Its 4.5" stainless, bushingless tilting barrel and stainless slide pair with a matte gray anodized aluminum alloy frame for a durable two-tone finish. Fixed 3-dot sights deliver a clean sight picture with a single-dot front and two-dot rear arrangement.
Ruger engineered the P85 with investment-cast construction and an integral lanyard loop at the grip heel. Field-stripping is simple, using the P-Series method of lowering the ejector through the magazine well.
The wraparound black rubber grip with finger grooves and Ruger medallions is installed, enhancing purchase on the full-size frame. Capacity is 15+1 rounds of 9mm Luger, and this example was manufactured in the USA in 1990.
