This Nighthawk Custom BDS9 Commander is a recent, USA-built double-stack 1911 in 9mm Luger with a 4.25-inch bushingless bull barrel and a tri-top slide featuring a long serrated rib and multiple lightening windows. It presents in excellent condition and comes with Nighthawk's One Gun, One Gunsmith build standards, plus the factory test target and QC paperwork. The Commander-length 4.25-inch slide is cut in a tri-top profile with a long, serrated sighting rib to reduce glare. It includes an elongated top lightening window and paired oval side windows. The bushingless bull barrel is hood-marked "NHC 9MM NM" and is fitted for reliable lockup in this compact format.
The double-stack frame integrates a single-slot accessory rail for mounting a light. Ergonomics include a high trigger-guard undercut and a flared magwell to speed reloads. Controls feature ambidextrous manual thumb safeties, an upswept beavertail grip safety, and a flat-faced trigger.
Sight regulation is via a Heinie plain black serrated rear sight paired with a red/orange fiber-optic front blade. The iron-sight setup is straightforward and fast to read, aided by the rib serrations across the slide top.
Fit and finish show a two-tone appearance: matte light-silver slide and frame with black/gray controls and a black, textured double-stack grip module wearing Nighthawk medallions.
