The B&T APC9K Pro is a compact, Swiss-made 9mm pistol built around a closed-bolt, blowback-operated system with a hydraulic buffer. This Pro variant features ambidextrous controls, dual non-reciprocating charging handles, and a 4.5 in threaded barrel. It includes B&T flip-up sights, a full-length top Picatinny rail, removable side rail sections, and a folding skeletonized stabilizing brace. The platform was selected for the U.S. Army Sub Compact Weapon program in 2019 and later purchased by the U.S.
Air Force in 2020.

The APC9K Pro configuration centers on reliability and control. Its semi-automatic, closed-bolt, blowback-operated action is paired with a hydraulic buffer to help manage recoil impulse in a compact package. Right-side ejection and fully ambidextrous controls support efficient operation from either shoulder.
Purpose-built features include a 4.5 in threaded barrel and a full-length top Picatinny rail for mounting accessories. The handguard provides removable short Picatinny sections at 3 and 9 o'clock and an integral polymer hand stop for a secure forward reference point.
Factory-installed B&T flip-up iron sights offer ready-to-use alignment, and the dual, folding, ambidextrous, non-reciprocating charging handles keep manipulation consistent and safe from movement during fire. The polymer frame keeps weight manageable while maintaining durability for hard use.
This Pro variant aligns with the platform adopted for the U.S. Army Sub Compact Weapon program (2019) and later purchased by the U.S. Air Force (2020). Swiss-made markings include: "Cal. 9x19mm", "APC9K Cal.
9x19mm", "B&T Thun, Switzerland", the Swiss cross symbol, and "B&T APC SWISS MADE". The case label confirms APC9K Pro and part number BT-36045.
Capacity is 30+1 with the included APC9-pattern polymer magazine. The installed STEADY-BRACE folding skeletonized brace and B&T hard case complete a ready-to-go package for transport and range use.
