Built in Oberndorf, Germany, this SP5 uses a stamped-steel receiver and HK’s roller-delayed blowback action with a fluted chamber, preserving the characteristics that define the MP5 family. It features an 8.86" cold hammer forged barrel with a 3-lug muzzle for compatible devices, and the factory hooded front post and rotary diopter drum rear sights.
The controls and layout match the classic pattern, including the paddle-style magazine release and 0–1 pictogram selector. An ambidextrous rear sling loop is integrated at the receiver end, and the full-size receiver uses the standard-length cocking tube.
Quality upgrades are already in place. A B&T low-profile NAR Picatinny claw mount is installed on the receiver for a stable mounting interface. The B&T aluminum railed handguard adds integral Picatinny segments, with a polymer angled foregrip mounted on the bottom rail. A 3-lug quick-detach flash hider with a knurled collar is fitted at the muzzle.
For compact handling, it wears an SB Tactical PDW-style two-rail sliding arm brace that telescopes to adjust length. The package is rounded out with two German steel 30-round magazines, an HK soft case, two additional HK slim polymer handguards (one with a short bottom rail segment), and the HK MP5/SP5 series owner’s manual.
