This Winchester Model 70 Super Grade has been rebarreled with a Gilbreath 26-inch custom barrel and chambered in .300 Remington Ultra Magnum. It retains the Super Grade's controlled-round-feed action and three-position safety, is finished in gloss blued steel, and wears a classic walnut stock. It is set up for optics with two-piece bases and 1-inch rings installed, and features a 3-round magnum-capacity internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: There is some mild wear and a few small dings. The rifle remains in great shape overall, with only minor imperfections visible in the black, cerkote-like finish.

The heart of this rifle is its Gilbreath custom 26-inch steel barrel, chambered in .300 Remington Ultra Magnum. The barrel is polished blued and configured without iron sights, pairing clean lines with the long, magnum-length tube favored for this cartridge.
Built on the Winchester Model 70 Super Grade platform, it uses a controlled-round-feed bolt and a three-position safety. Feeding is via an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, with magnum capacity of 3 rounds.
The walnut stock reflects Super Grade details: a shadow-line cheekpiece, point-pattern cut checkering, a contrasting black fore-end tip, an inletted front sling-swivel base, and a cross-bolt with decorative rosette. A Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad and a 13.25-inch length of pull round out the stock fit.
The receiver and barrel wear a gloss blued finish. Optics setup is straightforward, with two-piece bases and 1-inch rings already installed, and there are no open sights to interfere with a scope.
