This Japanese-made Howa 1500 Hogue OverMolded sporter is chambered in 6.5x55 Swedish (SE) and configured for practical field use with a 22-inch blued barrel and a factory-style internal magazine with a hinged floorplate. It features a Hogue OverMolded synthetic stock with dual aluminum pillar bedding and a one-piece Picatinny rail already installed on the receiver. Clear import markings from LSI in Reno, Nevada are present.

The 22-inch steel sporter barrel has a recessed crown, a blued finish, and no iron sights. It is unthreaded. The receiver is drilled and tapped and comes fitted with a one-piece Picatinny rail for secure mounting of optics bases or accessories.
The Hogue OverMolded synthetic stock provides a rubberized, black finish with pebble-textured grip panels for confident handling. Dual aluminum pillar bedding supports consistent receiver alignment, and a recoil pad helps manage shoulder interface. Sling swivel studs are installed.
This rifle uses a right-hand, two-lug bolt and a sliding safety. It feeds from an internal magazine with a hinged floorplate and a 4-round capacity suited to the long-action 6.5x55 SE chambering.
Construction is all-steel for the barrel and receiver with matching blued finishes. The rifle was made in Japan and imported by Legacy Sports International (LSI) of Reno, Nevada. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
